Worked closely with designers, product managers and iOS and Android engineers to build new cross-platform features. Built internal tools used broadly across the engineering teams.
- Key features: Customer sign up and secure login flows, online banking dashboard, budgeting, upcoming payments and categorisations
- Worked with backend engineers to design and implement a 'dream' API to render only necessary data on the client. Heavily reduced network payloads and improved app performance across all platforms.
- Created an internal dev tool to visualise large sets of banking data. Merged the output of many microservices into a single, two-dimensional data display. This made validating cross-service data consistency significantly easier and made debugging errors much less painful for developers.
- Constructed a modular UI component library which was reused throughout the project
- Implemented client-side search and filter functionality for banking data
